When you look at the grand scheme of things, the universe is an ever moving force. We are just  sparks of life moving with the flow of time. As carl sagan has said the importance we have is self created. Scary to think that our creation isn't important. But in a lot of ways this gives us mysterious and new ideas to explore, new possibilities. When we don't think ourselves superior where free to a world of endless possibilities.
